  • Birdlife like the Red-billed buffalo weaver, Glossy Starling, Blue-eared starling, Burchell’s starling, mourning dove, Giant eagle, Barn owls, Scops owls, Pearl spotted owls and the Blue cheeked bee-eater

Orpen gate is the closest entrance gate to Satara Rest Camp and is approximately 87 km from the camp.
