Satara Rest Camp, located in the heart of Kruger National Park, exudes
a rustic charm, with its accommodation arranged in a series of circular
layouts. The camp is set in a well-wooded area, providing a lush environment
teeming with birdlife.
At night, the sounds of the camp come alive as the clink
of fruit bats blends with the chorus of cicadas and crickets. The haunting
calls of owls and nightjars add to the symphony of nature, occasionally interrupted
by the whoop of hyenas, the screech of jackals, and the powerful roars of
lions, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for visitors.
