Tamboti Satellite Camp

Tamboti Satellite Camp is a small, popular tented camp situated on the banks of the Timbavati River, about 2 km east of Orpen Rest Camp on the western boundary of Kruger National Park. The camp offers a natural bushveld experience with excellent privacy, a communal boma for campfire gatherings, and a bird hide for birding enthusiasts. It is well-known for sightings of kudu, black rhino, and porcupines feeding on the distinctive Tamboti trees surrounding the camp.
